TradeSkillMaster: (download links attached to every module)
TradeSkillMaster (abbreviated "TSM") is a modular addon suite designed to help both casual gold makers as well as experienced auction house goblins streamline their gold-making processes including everything from crafting things to buying mats to snatch (dealfinding) lists to creating and canceling auctions.
The main module provides common functions and windows for all the modules. This module is required in order for any of the other modules to function, but does nothing user-facing on its own.
TradeSkillMaster has it's own tab in the auction window. All features that use the auction house have been designed for this tab.
All modules that display auction search results in some way use the same format which was designed by taking the best aspects of multiple other addons and optimizing them into a system that can display results as efficiently and conveniently as possible.
You can change the appearance of the majority of TradeSkillMaster's frames.
TSM_Accounting
Keeps track of all your sales and purchases from the auction house allowing you to easily track your income and expendatures and make sure you're turning a profit.
It provides this information to you in a variety of formats.
-
gold earned / used total
-
gold earned / used during last 30 days
-
gold earned / used during last 7 days
-
top item by quantity
TSM_Auctioning
Auctioning is a module that allows the user to create pricing groups of items. Once the groups are created and tweaked to the user's preference, the items can be very quickly posted and cancelled on the Auction House at good prices.
When posting the log shows the who, what and why you post (or don't post) an item in a clean and easy to read way. This log also includes a handful of smaller features accessible with a single click such as being able to add a competitor to your friends list or view all the auctions for that row in the log. The tooltips for each row contains even more information about that particular item to help the user figure out why Auctioning did what it did.
"Show All Auctions", and "Show Item Auctions" will show all auctions that have been scanned or the auctions for the current item being posted respectively in a convenient interface.
You can customize your post and cancel scans to only post specific groups or categories by right-clicking Post or Cancel Auctions.
A Reset Scan, has been added which will look for auctions which you can buy in order to reset a market to a higher price according to rules you set up. This scan will also cancel your own auctions as necessary.
The "Common Search Term" option allows you to specify a common term that should be searched for instead of the specific items in a group; ie. "glyph of' for your glyphs group. This can speed up scans by many times and will automatically be ignored if it would cause the scan to take longer.
TSM_AuctionDB
This is the pricing database that tracks item prices and seen-counts.
Performs scans of the auction house and calculates the market value of items as well as the minimum buyout. This information can be shown in items' tooltips as well as used by other modules.
The player can use the database for searching an individual item or group of items. The search can be filtered with same categories and subcategories the Auction House groups items, i.e. weapons, armor, containers, consumables etc.
Note that the search performed with AuctionDB is not live search.
Don't want to waste any more time scanning the auction house? TradeSkillMaster_AuctionDB can be automatically updated using this application. Its easy to configure and will update AuctionDB approximately once an hour using Blizzards APIs.
If you're not able to use this application, don't panic. It's easy to run auction scans in the run scan screen. You can either run a GetAll scan (fastest), a profession scan, or a full scan.
TSM_Crafting
Crafting automates the process of item creation by identifying potential profit in a user's recipe book, queuing up all high-profit items, and allowing the user to quickly craft the items once adequate materials are collected.
TSM_Destroying
This module handles milling, prospecting and disenchanting. There are three modes:
-
"Slow" uses the typical milling / prospecting macro and does essentially the same thing any other addon does.
-
"Fast" separates the /cast and /use parts of the macro which can significantly speed up the process for users who don't mind clicking an extra time.
-
"Faster" is like "Fast" but is much more aggressive and relies on the user to get the timing right for super-speed milling/prospecting. "Faster" should not be used if you are just mindlessly spamming.
TSM_ItemTracker (formerly Gathering)
Tracks the items across multiple character bags, banks, guild banks, and auctions and displays this information in a tooltip as well as provides it to the Crafting module.
TSM_Mailing
Allows you to quickly and easily empty your mailbox as well as automatically send items to other characters with the single click of a button.
Mailing autosends items based on rules you create to any character you want. This can be very helpful for people who make lots of items to be sold through one or more bankers, it also shows money received.
There are several options related to mailing:
-
add mail targets (to whom to send items to)
-
add items to mail targets
-
add groups to mail targets
-
auto recheck mail
-
don't display money received
-
send items individually
The auto-mailing feature has an option to have it automatically restart itself every X minutes while the mailbox is open which is very useful for making sure you have enough bag space to craft hundreds of things at a time by constantly sending them to an alt as you make them.
Easily change the name of a mail target without losing all the items attached to them.
TSM_Shopping
Provides interfaces for efficiently searching for items on the auction house. When an item is found, it can easily be bought, canceled (if it's yours), or even posted from your bags.
Shopping allows users to semi-automatically buy materials for their crafting queue.
By default shopping is set to use professions available to search cheapest possible way to achieve the wanted result. Players can define their search
-
to buy even stacks only
-
to buy inks to trade if cheaper
-
to buy herbs / ore only
-
to ignore prospecting for gems
-
to ignore enchanting for materials
The "Search" feature is meant as a replacement for the Browse tab of the auction house.
Shopping has two types of lists you can search for via the "Search" feature: Dealfinding Lists and Shopping Lists. Shopping lists can contain items and / or search terms. Search terms can contain special, in-line filters. For example: "armor/plate/epic/85/i320/i390" will search for all plate armor that requires level 85, has an ilvl between 320 and 390 and is of epic quality. These filters can also be specified for normal, one-time searches. Dealfinding lists contain items with a specified maximum price and can be used for looking for items below some price.
Shopping and Dealfinding lists can be created easily and even exported / imported from the addon!
Multiple searches can be combined by putting a ; between your search terms.
The "Search" feature includes a "Post" button for easily posting one-off items to the auction house.
Many shortcuts are included throughout the "Search" feature such as shift clicking an item in your bags to start a search for it, right clicking on a search result to easily add an item to a dealfinding list, shopping list, or auctioning group, and more.
TSM_Warehousing (formerly Gathering)
Manages your inventory using groups from other modules as well as groups of its own to quickly move items between the players's bags, bank, and guild bank.
Empty bags be able to restore them back to the previous state
Allow the user to move auctioning, and crafting groups
Allow the user to create and move custom gathering groups
